Contract Counsellor – Supporting Women with Gynaecological Cancer
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate counsellor to join our services supporting women affected by gynaecological cancers, including those living with advanced or terminal diagnoses.
This role offers the opportunity to provide meaningful, client-centred therapeutic support to women as they navigate diagnosis, treatment, recurrence, palliative care, and end-of-life concerns. You will work with complex emotional experiences such as grief, anticipatory loss, trauma, identity change, relationship challenges, family impact, and meaning-making.
We are seeking a practitioner who is emotionally grounded, reflective, and comfortable working with uncertainty, mortality, and end-of-life conversations. You will be supported through regular clinical supervision and work alongside healthcare and support professionals where appropriate.
Location: Surrey / Sussex / Hampshire (hybrid or in-person, depending on service needs)
Contract: Session-based
Rate: £45 per hour, plus a contribution to supervision costs
