On Sunday 17th September, Helen Thomas opened her fabulous gardens at Hill Farm in Westcott.

Helen’s 1 3/4 acre garden has magnificent views of the Surrey Hills landscape. The weather held up beautifully, despite an unpredictable forecast, and visitors enjoyed exploring the garden with its wealth of different natural habitats, a wildlife pond, a woodland walk, a tapestry of heathers and glorious late summer grasses and perennials.

Proceeds from refreshments were kindly being donated to GRACE and the entrance fee to the NGS.

We had queues of visitors coming to choose a delicious cake to accompany their tea and coffee – deciding which one was a task in itself! And over £600 was raised for GRACE.
