A big thank you to the Redhill & District Bar Billiards League who chose GRACE to share the proceeds of their recent Inter-League Fun Day with St. Catherine’s Hospice and have sent us a donation of £300. The event was held on 6th April at the Salford’s Social Club in Redhill and took the form of a Fun Day with cakes, raffles and fancy dress. The theme this year was pink and purple. Club Treasurer, Karen Bacchus has told us that players were fined for foul shots and general misbehaviour and great fun was had by all while raising a substantial sum for these two brilliant charities.

58 women a day are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer so it is great that you were able to raise some awareness of these diseases as this will help save and lengthen some lives in the future. Thank you to everyone who participated, gifted raffle prizes, bought raffle tickets, baked delicious cakes and helped to make the day such a success.
