A HUGE thank you to Roger Macdivitt for his very energetic fundraising over the last two months.

Roger organised a fabulous Spring Concert at Charterhouse on Thursday 11th April, which was attended by our Chair – Simon Butler-Manuel.  The performers included The Royal Surrey Choir, The Midhurst Community Choir, internationally respected  Mezzo Soprano, Dame Ann Murray, who is also well known locally through her performances with Opera South, and the wonderful violinist Ishani Bhoola who is so energetic in all she does.  The very handsome Norwegian tenor, Martin Enger Holm has been singled out, likewise April Frederick and in truth the audience was spoilt with such a selection of music in the lovely Memorial Chapel. Philip Obrien’s young people added another dimension to the evening.

Roger received more than positive comments about the programme from the three mayoral attendees and from those who supported the event.
