GRACE and BRIGHT created a stunning Wishing Tree out of branches on which were hung envelopes. Visitors to the hospital could choose to buy a £2, £5 or £10 envelope and the envelope revealed the prize. Everyone was a winner with every envelope relating to a prize.

The prizes included Waitrose hampers, wine, chocolates, lego, cookery books, children’s games and books, Crabtree and Evelyn products, Squires gift voucher, Headmasters gift voucher, to name but a few. The prizes were all generous donations from friends and surrounding businesses including Waitrose, Tinc, Sainsburys, Tesco, Squires Garden Centre and Headmasters. All the cakes sold were home baked by our generous friends. And they were all delicious!

We raised £500 for GRACE and BRIGHT for World Cancer Day thanks to all those who supported us with their generous donations, cake baking or by buying a cake or an envelope!
