Join Challenge60 and support women diagnosed with gynae cancers
To mark Gynae Cancer Awareness Month this September, we’re once again inviting supporters to take part in this popular and powerful Challenge60 fundraiser to honour the 60 women diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer every single day in the UK.
We need your help to make it a success, whether you sign up yourself or you encourage your friends and loved ones to join us to support a cause close to your heart.
Taking part is simple and the challenge you set yourself can be as big or as small as you like. All we’re asking is that you register via the website Challenge60 sign up and set yourself a challenge of doing something connected to the number 60 for the month of September. That can be 60 seconds, 60 minutes or 60 reps of something. Signing up is easy and the good news is, there’s no sponsorship required to be able to take part!
Here’s some ideas to get you started, but basically, anything goes and it’s down to you to decide what works best:
- Set aside 60 minutes a day or week to read or meditate
- Run or walk a total of 60km during the month of September
- Attempt to do 60 star jumps or press ups a day/week/month
- Practice an instrument or other skill/hobby for 60 minutes a week/day
- Knit/crochet 60 rows of a new scarf or other project!
Whatever challenge you set yourself, you will receive a bespoke and sustainable wooden medal. To take part, register for your medal via our online shop. It costs just £15 (with an option to fundraise or donate if you wish) and this will be sent to you in September, whether you complete your challenge or not. All funds raised will go towards GRACE’s counselling support services and research work. Sign up today and let’s beat gynaecological cancers together. Challenge60 sign up
