Huge thanks to Helen & Martin Thomas for raising £1012 for GRACE through their NGS Open Garden on Sunday 13th September. Over 430 visitors to Hill Farm in Westcott were able to enjoy Helen’s beautiful garden in glorious September sunshine and warmth. Delicious tea and cakes were served all day and the trade was very busy – many visitors coming back for seconds! Helen has asked me to pass on special thanks to all her family who helped before, during and after the event – Martin, Ellie, Thomas, Bill and Betty Moxon, Elly Horne, John Moxon, Sally Hewetson and Emma Hunter. Thank you also to everyone who helped in the kitchen on the day and to all the cake bakers, including many of the above, but also Martha Witt, Kieran Murphy, Viv Adams, Cheryl Seymour and many others. Dear Helen, your garden is totally stunning and GRACE really appreciates the opportunity to raise awareness of gynae cancers in such a beautiful environment. Thank you for supporting GRACE in this very generous way. We are delighted the day was such an amazing and well deserved success for you – and for GRACE.
