Thank you to everyone who provided cakes or gifts for our fundraising table at RSCH on Thursday 3 May. We had amazing day and raised £537.00 for GRACE. Special thanks to Maria Hobbs, Chris Cook, Sue Permanand, Suzi Hutt, Amanda Borlase, Sophie Otter, Maria Ashworth, The Love Bean Cafe, Kavitha Madhuri and for all the mystery cakes that arrived on Thursday morning.
The biggest thankyou goes to Susan Clarke, who is a patient of ours and a star WI baker – the punters were fighting over Susan’s whisky soaked fruit cakes. How lucky are we to have her as one of our special GRACE women.
We can’t thank you all enough. It is always a bit nerve-wracking imagining no cakes will be forthcoming so thank you for supporting us. Thanks also to Rugaia Montaser and Doris Foot for helping on the day and to everyone who bought cakes from us. Especially Mr John Coleman (Radiography) and Mr Chris Coates (Orthopaedics) who spent a lot of money buying cakes for their entire departments – how lovely was that!
