GRACE has released a new poster to mark Gynae Cancer Awareness month across Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex this September.

Available upon request to GP surgeries and hospitals, the poster highlights the symptoms of all five gynaecological cancers to women and their loved ones and conveys the simple message that gynae cancer symptoms shouldn’t stay private.

Simon Butler-Manuel, GRACE founder and Consultant in Gynaecological Oncology, comments: “Late presentation of disease is the biggest problem that we face with Gynaecological cancers in Surrey and Sussex. Empowering women so they are diagnosed earlier is vitally important.”

GRACE exists to support women living with gynaecological cancers – from diagnosis and beyond – and is committed to providing women centred support across its network.

The charity was first founded in 2005 to raise vital awareness of symptoms of the disease and to fund research and medical equipment. Today, it also offers and facilitates peer support to women and is due to launch a new dedicated support service later this year.
