Many thanks to Pat Greenaway who with her friend Sue hosted a Lilac and Lace tea party for GRACE at her beautiful home in Westcott near Dorking in November. They were joined by lots of friends and neighbours and raised £364 in donations and £336 from the sale of GRACE creams and candles.

Pat tells us the afternoon was a brilliant and lively affair, where the ladies were able to enjoy a get together, catching up over a delicious tea of gorgeous home made cakes, scones, mince pies and a glass of sparkles, all with the serious intent of raising funds for GRACE.

Many thanks are due not just for the wonderful donations received, but the background support from friends who brought cakes, served tea, washed dishes, all which helped make the afternoon go well.

Another reason for the tea party was to recognise that GRACE is very much a charity that supports the professionals in their work the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Gynae-Oncology Cancer Unit. Sue, Pat and friends were pleased therefore to have an opportunity to acknowledge the amazing support many like Sue receive at this centre of excellence.
