March 26, 2023

The Kent Surrey-Sussex School (KSS) of Obstetrician and Gynaecology conference, held in partnership with the National Health Service (NHS), took place on March 24th in Brighton and attracted medical professionals, cancer researchers, and representatives from charitable organizations across the country.

Among the attendees were representatives from GRACE Charity, including Sara Willcocks, our Head of Fundraising & Communications, and Nicola Pegler, our Head of Community who showcased GRACE’s work. Their participation - on behalf of GRACE - highlights the vital role that charitable organizations play in supporting medical research and enhancing patient care.

The conference offered a platform for medical experts to exchange ideas and discuss the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynaecology. The event was particularly notable for its engaging talks and informative workshops, which provided insights into ground-breaking cancer research projects.

GRACE Charity has been a longstanding advocate for gynaecological cancer research and treatment, and our presence at the conference further underscores our commitment to advancing the field. With a shared vision of improving women's health outcomes, the collaboration between The KSS and the NHS is a testament to the power of partnership in driving positive change.

In the end, the conference was a resounding success, providing a platform for medical experts and charitable organizations to come together to learn, share, and collaborate in the fight against gynaecological cancers.
