Christina Uwins
GRACE Researcher and Fundraiser
Christina is a Senior Clinical Research Fellow in Robotic Gynaecological Oncology at Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust. As well as running the MIRRORS Study, funded by GRACE, Christina is also in training to run the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October. She continues in her role at the hospital alongside her research – which involves either assisting or operating in theatre or assessing patients in clinic, and tracking them through the patient pathway – typical doctoring stuff!
Pandy Dean
GRACE Woman and Fundraiser
Pandy is an amazing supporter of GRACE, having raised tens of thousands of pounds at fundraising events and sponsored challenges. This is year marks the 5th anniversary of her cancer diagnosis and to mark this, she and a group of friends and family (‘The Wonky Wanderers’) just completed the Surrey 3 Peaks Challenge this weekend. Her combined fundraising efforts now top £40k for GRACE.
Vicky Allen
GRACE Fundraiser
Vicky is a dear friend of Pandy. They had a fitness business together for many years.  She witnessed first-hand the shock of Pandy being diagnosed with a disease that had spread so much, but seemingly with no symptoms. She was one of the ‘Wonky Wanderers’ who completed the 3 Peaks this weekend, raising over £4k as a team.
Hellen Revenko
GRACE Woman, Trustee and Fundraiser
After being diagnosed with cancer, Hellen has gone on to become a Trustee with GRACE. She has also raised several thousand pounds by completing sponsored walks – most recently £2.5k for a 30-mile walk along the River Way in June.
Sylvie Alsopp
GRACE Fundraiser
After undergoing cancer treatment during lockdown, Sylvie has become a dedicated fundraiser for GRACE. She took on her own sponsored walk after lockdown restrictions eased earlier this year, raising over £1k. She also completed the Surrey 3 Peaks this weekend!
Gemma Hodgkiss
GRACE Fundraising and Communications Manager
Gemma manages GRACE’s fundraising and awareness campaigns and works with both clinicians and supporters to further GRACE’s impact.
